Mineral-filled polypropylene stays rigid and cut-resistant under a heavy, saucy meal, so a knife and fork do not go through it. The one-piece hinged lid snaps shut for the road, and the material holds back grease and moisture. The mineral content means 40% less resin than a comparable plastic container, and it is recyclable.
